Versailles is more than a Palace surrounded with beautiful gardens. It
also has a huge park where one can discover two lovely castles named
Grand and Petit Trianons, former summer residences for the Kings who
loved to rest and forget about the “Etiquette” of
the Court.
Versailles State Apartments
In
the morning, guided visit to the State Apartments of the Palace (Hall
of Mirrors, King’s Bedroom, Queen’s
Bedroom…) and free time.
La Petite Venise Restaurant
Guided walk in the beautiful gardens down to the restaurant
“la Petite Venise”, located near the Grand Canal in
the park.

- Roquette salad served with Parmesan cheese
- Chicken supreme and potato purée with olive oil
- Chocolate Tart
- Coffee
- 1 mineral water bottle for 4 persons

Versailles Trianons
In
the afternoon, you will visit the Grand Trianon and stroll in the park
up to Marie- Antoinette’s Hamlet, the fancy farm where she
loved to
welcome her best friends and play at shepherding. In her theatre, she
used to go on the stage. She certainly lived there the best hours in
her life.
